Last Saturday was a tail-wagging triumph for pets and the people who love them! Rick’s Custom Fencing & Decking was honored to sponsor the 34th annual Walk/Run for the Animals in Downtown Vancouver — a cherished community event that brought together more than 1,100 walkers and runners in support of the Southwest Washington Humane Society.
Under sunny skies and with paws pounding the pavement, the event raised over $270,000 to fund lifesaving programs for animals in need. That’s not just a number — it’s medical care for injured strays, shelter for surrendered pets, and a second chance for thousands of animals throughout the region.
