Stars, Stripes, and Community Spirit: Tri-Cities Flag Swap Recap

On Tuesday, May 20th, Rick’s Custom Fencing & Decking proudly hosted our 3rd Great American Flag Swap in the heart of the Tri-Cities—and what a patriotic day it was! Dozens of community members came out to exchange their worn or weathered American flags for brand-new, high-quality replacements, just in time for Memorial Day.

The spirit of unity and pride was strong as neighbors stopped by to honor the symbol of our nation and connect with Rick's team. Old flags were collected for respectful retirement, while new flags were handed out with smiles and gratitude. The event offered more than just flags—it was a celebration of community values, service, and support.

We also had a drawing for free tickets to the Walla Walla MusicFest and CrashFest, which brought even more excitement to the event! Congratulations to all who entered—winners were announced and tickets awarded. And remember, even if you didn’t win, parking is free this year at Walla Walla MusicFest thanks to Rick’s, so come out and enjoy the music and
festivities.

From veterans and families to first-time homeowners, it was inspiring to see so many faces proudly taking home a new flag to fly. Thank you to everyone who made this event a success—and to those who continue to fly the flag with pride, we salute you.
