At Rick’s Custom Fencing and Decking, giving back to the community is at the heart of what we do. Through our Community Support Drive, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with some truly remarkable organizations this past year.
Special Community Support Drive Feature: Rick’s Partners with Make-A-Wish
Rick’s Custom Fencing & Decking has teamed up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon to create a safe and joyful outdoor space for Rex, a 15-year-old from Vancouver, Washington.
Rex lives with a nervous system disorder that leaves him non-verbal and non-ambulatory, but he lights up when he’s in the sunshine. His family shared that his happiest moments are when he’s outside, and together we’re transforming his small back deck into a safe, shaded sanctuary where he can enjoy the outdoors every day.
OUR 2026 GOALS
The Rick’s Community Support Drive has donated over $250,000 in materials and labor since its start in June 2020.

Rick's Proudly Supports Make-A-Wish Oregon's Million Miles Match Campaign
Giving back has always been important to the team at Rick’s, which is why we’re proud to support Make-A-Wish Oregon’s Million Miles Match Campaign alongside KGW and Alaska Airlines.
The campaign provides donated miles to Make-A-Wish Oregon, helping children facing critical illnesses and their families travel to destinations that make life-changing wishes possible.
Rick's and Oregon Baseball Raise Funds for CASA of Lane County Through 2026 Home Run Campaign
This season, Oregon Ducks Baseball gave fans plenty to cheer about on and off the field. Every Ducks home run at PK Park this season helped support local children through a partnership between Rick’s Custom Fencing & Decking, Oregon Baseball, and CASA of Lane County.
In June, representatives from Rick’s, Oregon Baseball, and CASA gathered in Eugene to celebrate the campaign’s success and present a check for $4,700 to CASA of Lane County.
