End of Year Recap - Community Drive

Rick’s Custom Fencing and Decking had the opportunity to partner with a lot of incredible organizations over the last year with our Community Support Drive initiative. As we come to near the end of 2023, we want to look back and celebrate all of the wonderful experiences we’ve been a part of and the people within our community that we’ve been able to help.

2nd Harvest

For the third consecutive year, we volunteered with 2nd Harvest on their food sort night. They’re a fantastic organization that strives to serve those facing hunger through education, empowerment, and partnerships. Their goal is to provide food assistance and promote access to healthy and nutritious food for everyone.

Michelle's Love

This past April, our team helped build a fence for a woman undergoing cancer treatment in Northeast Portland. By donating our time and materials, we were able to build the fence within a week with Michelle’s Love. They are an organization that aims to help relieve the stress of single parents undergoing cancer treatment.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

To better service people in wheelchairs, we built a ramp with Home Builder’s Foundation, an organization that builds and renovates shelters for those experiencing homelessness in the Portland metropolitan area.
