One of the most exciting parts of the event? The Helicopter Ball Drop, sponsored by Rick’s! This high-flying feature was a crowd favorite — and a major contributor to the day’s fundraising success. The Wilsonville Chamber raised thousands of dollars to benefit its Workforce Scholarship Program, which helps local students pursue career and technical education opportunities.

Rick’s Custom Fencing & Decking was proud to support the 21st Annual Maurice Lucas Celebrity Golf Invitational in Aloha, OR—an event that honors the legacy of Portland Trail Blazers legend Maurice Lucas through impactful youth programs, scholarships, and mentorship.
Golfers enjoyed a beautiful summer day on the green, all in support of a great cause. Ricks brought a little extra excitement to the course with our signature Chipping Challenge—a fun, interactive contest that gave players the chance to chip a golf ball over a real Rick’s Fence and land it close to the pin to win a prize.
It wasn’t just about skill—it was about connection, community, and having a great time together. From perfect arcs to some impressive second tries, we loved seeing the creativity and competitive spirit on full display.
We’re honored to partner with the Maurice Lucas Foundation, whose work continues to uplift and empower youth throughout the Portland area. A huge thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and players who made the event so memorable—and to every golfer who stepped up to take the Chipping Challenge. You made it a hit.
