Rick’s Custom Fencing & Decking Proudly Supports West Linn High School’s “No Running in the Halls” Portland to Coast Relay Team

At Rick’s Custom Fencing & Decking, we believe in building more than fences, decks, and patio covers — we believe in building stronger communities. That’s why we were proud to sponsor the West Linn High School “No Running in the Halls” team as they take on the Portland to Coast Relay.

The “No Running in the Halls” team is made up of dedicated educators and administrators from West Linn High School who share a passion for teamwork, perseverance, and school spirit. The name — equal parts humor and tradition — reflects the team’s lighthearted approach to a challenging, 130-mile relay from Portland to the Oregon Coast.

The Portland to Coast Relay is one of the largest walk relays in the world, bringing together teams from across the region for an unforgettable journey from city streets to coastal sands. Each member tackles multiple legs of the course, pushing themselves physically while supporting one another through every mile.

Supporting West Linn High School’s “No Running in the Halls” team is about more than just a logo on a hat. It’s about encouraging young people to embrace healthy competition, teamwork, and goal setting — values that align with the same commitment and craftsmanship we bring to every Rick’s project. We’re inspired by their dedication and proud to help them cross the finish line.
