Rick's and Oregon Baseball Raise Funds for CASA of Lane County Through 2026 Home Run Campaign

This season, Oregon Ducks Baseball gave fans plenty to cheer about on and off the field. Every Ducks home run at PK Park this season helped support local children through a partnership between Rick’s Custom Fencing & Decking, Oregon Baseball, and CASA of Lane County.

In June, representatives from Rick’s, Oregon Baseball, and CASA gathered in Eugene to celebrate the campaign’s success and present a check for $4,700 to CASA of Lane County.

Supporting children in Lane County

At Rick’s, we believe that being part of a community means finding ways to give back to the people and organizations doing important work every day. CASA of Lane County is one of those organizations.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) trains volunteers to advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect and are navigating the foster care system. The advocates help provide stability, support, and a voice for children facing these challenges.

“Supporting CASA means supporting children who need trusted adults in their corner,” said Taylor Stanley, VP of Marketing at Rick’s. “As Rick’s continues to grow in the Eugene market, we want our presence here to immediately create a positive community impact, and partnering with Oregon Baseball was a natural fit.”

While CASA’s impact is significant, the need continues to grow. Many children in Lane County are still waiting to be matched with an advocate, which made CASA a meaningful choice for this campaign.

A season-long effort with local impact

The 2026 home run campaign connected Rick’s, Oregon Baseball, and CASA of Lane County through a shared goal: using community partnerships to make a difference close to home.

Every home run represented more than a great moment in a baseball game. It became another opportunity to support local children and raise awareness for an organization that works tirelessly on their behalf.

“This campaign gave our players an opportunity to connect performance on the field with something much bigger,” said a UO player representative. “We’re proud to support CASA and help raise awareness for the important work they do throughout Lane County.”

Senior outfielder Drew Smith joined Rick’s and CASA representatives during the check presentation, helping recognize the collective effort behind the campaign and the impact it will have throughout Lane County.

Investing in the communities we serve

As Rick’s continues to grow in Eugene and Springfield, we’re grateful for opportunities to invest in the communities we serve.

Congratulations to the Ducks on a great season and thanks to CASA of Lane County for the life-changing work you do for children and families every day. Partnerships like these remind us that even small actions can add up to something meaningful.
