Each year, Make-A-Wish Oregon needs more than 14 million airline miles to send wish kids and their families on life-changing journeys. Meet Elise — an adorably confident 3-year-old from Hillsboro who loves make-believe, sunny days, and all things Sesame Street.
While battling a cancerous brain tumor, Elise dreamed of meeting her favorite furry friends at Sesame Place. Thanks to Make-A-Wish, that dream became reality.
“Going to Sesame Place was so fun,” Elise shared. “I met all the characters — Elmo, Ernie, Bert, and Snuffy. He had a big trunk!”
For Elise and her family, the trip brought back laughter, joy, and moments of childhood magic during an incredibly difficult time.
