We alternate board sizes using a dog-eared wide board then a narrower flat top board to create a very attractive "decorator" fence. The Decorator Style Fence has the same framework as the basic Solid Style Fence using 2”x 4” fir rails mounted on 5”x 5” fir pressure treated posts, set two feet deep with concrete.
