Responsibilities include overseeing multiple two person fence or deck crews while working on a two person crew themselves. Requires previous supervisory experience and an extensive construction background. Crew Leader - All Stores Openings available for Fence or Deck Crew Leaders. Duties include Building Fences or Decks while supervising a crew helper. Experience building fences, decks, or similar construction necessary. Supervisory experience helpful but not necessary. Crew Helper - All Stores Entry level fence or deck building position. Position requires the ability to perform strenuous physical tasks. Requires basic carpentry skills. Fence, deck or similar construction experience helpful but not necessary. Sales Inside/Outside Sales - All Stores Related Experience or bachelors degree preferred. Must have strong organizational and verbal skills. Proven success in the sales field, must be able to maintain a consistent closing ratio. Call on sales leads and answer customer inquiries via phone and in person. Greet customers, ask questions, determine their needs and assist them in making their purchasing decision. Bring prospective customers through the completed sales process from initial contact to a closed and completed order. The selected candidate will attend a four week training course. Yard Operations Yard Operations Manager - All Stores Duties include overseeing the daily operations of the lumber yards at each of our locations. Responsibilities include pre assembling all crew loads, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all deliveries, and overseeing loading of customer will calls. Additional responsibilities include overseeing the merchandising of products, general cleanliness and organization of the lumber yard, and some purchasing. This position requires previous supervisory experience, and a working knowledge of the day to day operation of a lumber yard or similar facility. Yard Lead Person - All Stores Requires previous lumber and some forklift experience. Responsibilities include assembling deliveries, customer will calls and crew loads. Delivery Driver - All Stores Requires experience driving light trucks and an excellent driving record. Applicants should have basic lumber knowledge and some forklift experience. Forklift Operator - All Stores Requires previous forklift experience preferably in a lumber yard or similar setting. Applicants should have basic lumber knowledge and some warehousing or inventory experience. Yard Helper - All Stores Duties include loading customer will calls, assembling deliveries and crew loads, and merchandising products. Inventory Control ICS / Inventory Control Specialists - All Stores Responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of all inventory by properly tracking all incoming and outgoing products. Applicants should be PC proficient and have previous lumber and inventory experience. Administrative Administrative Assistant - All Stores Duties include general office and administrative tasks. Applicants should have excellent PC skills and type a minimum of 50 words per minute. Previous experience in book keeping or accounting helpful but not necessary. Production Vinyl Production Plant - C&C Operator - Salem Store Duties include the operation of C&C machine to produce routed vinyl fence parts and accessories. Previous experience in production and meeting production goals and deadlines helpful. Vinyl Production Plant - Vinyl Assembler - Salem Store Duties include the assembly of various finished vinyl products (Gates, Planter boxes, Arbor kits, ect.). Previous experience in assembly or production helpful. Employment Benefits and CompensationOur company offers benefits to all eligible employees upon completion of a 180-day conditional employment period. Vacation pay is provided to all salary, hourly, and crew working an average forty-hour week. The amount of vacation is directly related to years of service and may vary by specific position. The company observes seven holidays a year and is closed the calendar week of Christmas. Medical Insurance and Direct Dental Reimbursement are available to each eligible employee. Dependent coverage is available at the employee's expense. The company participates in the 125 Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Plan, giving eligible employees the advantage of using pretax deductions for childcare, out-of-pocket medical expenses, and dependent's insurance premiums. Workers Compensation Insurance will pay for any compensable injury or illness incurred on the job.
