The roar of the fans, the scent of hot dogs and popcorn, the audible grunts and tackles of the players – what’s not to love about a football game? If you love football as much as we do, you won’t want to miss this year’s Les Schwab Bowl, held at the Hillsboro Stadium on Saturday, June 23. This annual all-star game, now in its 65th year, showcases Oregon’s most talented high school players. As the Northwest’s leading provider of decking and fencing materials, we’re proud to be sponsoring a special event at this year’s Les Schwab Bowl: the Rick’s Custom Fencing & Decking Fan Fest.

Anyone with a ticket to the all-star game can participate in Fan Fest, which will run from 3 to 7 p.m. on the east sideline of Hillsboro Stadium. Here are a few of the fun activities you can do at Fan Fest:

Run our Obstacle Course, which includes an 18-foot-tall lineman, tire run and tackle dummies. You’ll come away with a taste of what the all-stars face.

Play Football Tug-Of-War with a buddy. We’ll provide the bungee cord and measure the distance; you and your pal have to bring the big guns. How much yardage can your muscles earn?

Learn new techniques at our Skill Stations. Kick a mini field goal. Throw the old pigskin around. Get your tackle on. The skill stations are all about polishing your football skills.

So come join us at the Les Schwab bowl for Fan Fest. If we built your cedar deck or fence, come say howdy! The doors to Hillsboro Stadium will open at 3 p.m.; kickoff is at 6 p.m. Tickets are free for those 3 and under; others pay $6-8 for general admission or $12-15 for reserved seats. Proceeds from the Les Schwab Bowl will support Oregon’s 5A and 6A schools as well as the Oregon Athletic Coaches Association’s general scholarship fund.
