It looks like 2010 will be a big year for decks and pergolas, if the hundreds of people who flocked to our booth at the Yard, Garden and Patio Show are any indication.
Rick’s Custom Fencing & Decking made a big showing Friday through Sunday at the Oregon Convention Center, where we demonstrated the significant benefits a deck or fence can bring to any home. Our booth featured two of Rick’s flagship decks, including the Port Orford cedar deck, complete with a pergola. Port Orford cedar is one of the highest grade woods available for use in decking, and Rick’s is proud to be the only fencing and decking company that uses it in construction.
Rick’s also showcased a WestStar composite deck with a vinyl pergola. Made from recycled materials and highly resistant to the effects of weathering, the WestStar composite decking was a hit with show-goers.
Samples of Rick’s wide array of fencing designs filled out the booth, and circulars for our limited time 99-cent offer on Western Red Cedar fencing boards caught a lot of attention.
“Our overall impression of the show was very positive,” said Nick Marshall, General Manager of Rick’s Fencing & Decking. “The reaction to our new pricing and 99-cent Western Red Cedar boards was tremendous.
“The best part of the show for me is always getting to visit the happy customers who stop by just to thank us for the beautiful fence or deck we’ve built for them over the years.”
From everyone at Rick’s Custom Fencing & Decking, we wish those who stopped by the booth a happy spring, and we’ll see you at the show next year!
